blogging twice in one day?? unspeakable...

Just because I posted my little tribute post doesn't mean I don't have other things to say.

I cut my hair. Okay, no I didn't, I went and got it cut. At a little place I like to call Rinse at Heron City. The girl who normally cuts my hair (she's my Facebook friend, heehee) couldn't do it so some other tjej did, but yeah. It's fabulous anyway. Now it's to my chin, and it's all layer-y and choppy.

:D

Also, I'm probably seeing Metro Station liiive on February 8th!! At the same place as Kill Hannah... I'M SO HAPPY. Hoooly crap. They're one of my favorite bands!! Duuude. They're way cheaper here than they'd be in the states, probably, cause like, they aren't even half as famous here as they are there...

But yeah. I'm freaking, freaking excited. I'll be able to sing along with a lot, and I'll dance like crazy and scream my head off and try to meet them all. Miley Cyrus' brother. Lol. I'll have them sign something. Maybe I'll buy something, too, I dunno. But it'll be absolutely incredible.

Jasmine texts me all like, "oh my god metro station is coming to sweden" and I just started freaking out.

Yeah, I'm happy. :)

MY iPOD.

And we're gathered here today to discuss my wonderful orange Nano, and its amazingness.

I was fully expecting to get it for Christmas, but my parents kept trying to pull the "how do you know you're getting an iPod" thing to keep it a "surprise," even though I sat next to them with a laptop and decided which kind of iPod I wanted. Fail.

Then, on Christmas, I opened all my presents, and was like, okay, I'm probably going to get my iPod in some other magical way and it's probably going to be last. I'd pretty much forgotten about it when all of a sudden my mom started acting really freaking weird and repeating "maybe you guys should go on a walk." I was in my pajamas, on Christmas freaking morning, so I didn't exactly know what to do with that. Then it turned into "maybe you guys should get your coats, and go on a walk," and the emphasis shifted to the "getting our coats" portion of that, so finally it clicked and I went to pull my iPod out of my pocket of my coat.

And then I proceeded to dance around and freak out.

Anyway, it is an orange, 4th generation iPod Nano. I love it with my whole heart and it's incredible. When I turn it to the side, the stuff on the screen turns to the side, as well! And when I shake it, it reshuffles! My iPod is a gift from God.

I honestly feel so wrong when it's not with me. I can't go places without it; that's like going to school without my bag, or something.

Presently it has 455 songs, but they're all from my dad's computer. As you may or may not know, my computer is at some company right now, not being fixed. Great, right?

It has Solitaire and a version of Brick Breaker that is round, but the best game is the Maze game. I love it. But I don't play it very often.

Here, I'm going to reshuffle it (shake it, hahaha) and then tell you the next 10 songs that play...
-"Tired of You" - Foo Fighters
-"Thousand Mile Wish" - Finger Eleven
-"Here It Goes" - Jimmy Eat World
-"Animal I Have Become" - Three Days Grace
-"Time Won't Let Me Go" - The Bravery
-"So I Thought" - Flyleaf
-"Lonely As You" - Foo Fighters
-"Parachutes" - Coldplay (which would be the cutest song if it wasn't like less than a minute long)
-"Twice in a Blue Moon" - Ferry Corsten
-"Over My Head (Cable Car)" - The Fray

Some of those songs my dad had already, but I made him put a bunch of CDs on his computer and also buy a bunch of songs on iTunes (okay, not buy, I get iTunes gift cards :P)

But yeah. My iPod is my supersexy B F F. <3

brain age tale

So today, I'm telling you a story.

Okay, so, this one time, I was playing Brain Age on my DS (yes, I have a DS. yes, I have Brain Age. yes, I like it a lot. :P) and I was playing this game, this word game where it gives you some letters and you have to unscramble them... It's called Word Scramble, actually, I think.

So I was playing it, and the letters were A N G E M A.

And, I mean, obviously the word is MANAGE.

But I put MEAGAN anyway <3

Weird Asian Food FTW

Do you know what I'm eating right now?

Shut up, no you don't. You could totally never guess this. Nobody could. Unless they're from whatever Asian country this thing is from.

Okay, so it's a... Lychee Aloe Vera dessert.

So first of all, it came in a bag. Like, a plastic bag. And it's liquid, mostly. So yeah, bagged liquid. With cubes of... lychee gel... in it.

And as much fun as it was to eat Asian liquid out of a bag with a small spoon, I had to transfer it into a bowl because I kept getting it spilled onto my robot shirt. And my arm, which is why my arm is sticky.

Lychees are my favorite fruit.

This thing is weird, though. It's really sweet. I like it. Asian food = epic win

I got it at this little Asian food store at Medborgarplatsen, as well as a can of lychees. And a looot of Ramen.

And while we were there, I saw canned bananas. Canned bananas?? Dude. I told my mom to let me get it so I could blog about it, but she was like, you can just blog about seeing it. So here I am. And I never got to discover whether canned bananas are good or not.

Probably not...

'tis the season.

This is the busiest break from school. It's pretty much the most popular one, too. Like, second in line is Spring Break. Winter Break is cool (or not cool, the decision is yours) because it is so long, and, again, because so much happens. I really can't believe not only that it's here, but that it's almost over. I JUST STARTED going to Rödaberg! Just! Now it's the second term. Holy freaking crap.

So the main events of Winter Break are of course:
Christmas
Whatever traveling you do
aaand
New Years.

That's why I'm here today!

First of all.

Christmas was splendid. I was just as excited about it as I always have been, just asked my parents. My mom even said it was cute that I still look forward to it as much as I do. I was like bouncing around Christmas morning, and my parents were like "well before we open presents we have to..." and named all this stuff... completely kidding, but I was still like NO!

We opened our stockings first, like always. I got like, a ton of tiny mechanical pencils and some other pencils and pens, which is good cause I'm running completely low on pencils (thank you, 9en.)... I also got like, some candy from both America and Sweden (I haven't eaten it all yet, I think that deserves a high-five :P), some Lamar Savages lip crap which only my family could ever see the humor in, and some other stuff. I dunno. Lemme tell you what presents I got.

-From my mother's parents: an orange iPod nano. <3 the love of my life. I'm so elated over it, even still. It's my new bff.
-From my uncle on my mother's side: Viva la Vida :D i am so happyyyy.
-From my father's parents: a, like, little mechanical thing that walks around. he's pretty cool. :D
-From my aunt and uncle on my father's side: 50 iTunes credits, YAY :D omgeee i can't wait to go crazy buying music. it's ever-so-convenient, what with my new iPod to fill up. yay!
-From Emily: A PINK TUTU. Like, BRIGHT PINK. I had to go over to her and hug her. It's the most beautiful thing ever. She also got me some hair thingys, yay ^^
-From Sarah: okay, some of the coolest things ever. Horton Hears a Who!, which I am SO happy to own :D, a Santa apron for whatever reason (it is very cool. if i ever get a webcam and start vlogging, i will wear it in one.), an Over the Hill ribbon which is awesome, like a crapload of candy bracelets :D, a Fresh Friend who is like a little Santa-shaped room freshener guy who makes my room smell like cinnamon, and, llol, the hugest freaking panties EVER. They are size 12. They could fit a cow, I swear to god. Awesome. XD
-From Amy and Kevin: a robot sweater!! :D its so awesomeeee. wheee
-From my parents...
-An issue of Seventeen :D yayyy!! and Teen Vogue, but apparently that's from my grandma, and also a Twilight magazine.
-A stuffed dinosaur who is a stegosaurus and rawrs when you push his tummy. he is AMAZING.
-Some shirts. Two robot shirts, and a shirt thats like, a white blouse with a little vest attached to it.
-BREAKING DAWN <3
-Fuzzy socks :3
-Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! which i am veeery happy about.
-A pink 2009 calendar I can write on.

And other things I cannot remember. But I am very grateful and happy about everything. Oh! I'm going to tell you what I got my family members now.

-My mother: a pretty notepad that has like tree designs on it, because I know she loves notepads and tree designs, lol, and a necklace with some birds on it. Oh, some birds and some tree. How fitting.
-My father: some pesto cheese and some snowball candy. Edible gifts, yay!
-Emily: like, a crapload of stuff. a small blue gel pen, some very tasty-smelling orange scented soap (I swear it smells like freaking candy), a cup with a purple monkey on it, a bag with bananas on it, and those things you put in the fridge and put on your eyes, except the two eye-things are like duck heads. Awesome.

I kept our Christmas tree :3 It's in my room. It's very small, so it's not like I just have some big pine tree in my room, no. It's on my windowsill. So now I have two plants in my room! AP001, and Johnny Louis, which is my Christmas tree's name. His last name is Smithersons.

So after Christmas we went to Prague. We were there for 5 days. It was wicked cold there. In a very extreme way. I had to wear like tights under my jeans every day, and my coat over my sweater over my shirt... and my hat... and my gloves, with my hands in my coat pockets... and a scarf... and I was still freezing. We went to Poland one day, too. Both places were very cheap. Like, we went to this Target-ish store and got like clothes, a pair of boots, some food, some perfume (mine :] it's lovely and was only seven dollars), and like a crapload of notebooks and pencils and stuff... anyway, that was all equivalent to one hundred dollars. That is all. Compared to Sweden... that's insanely, insanely cheap. So awesome.

It was pretty nice there. We ate at a cute little place in Poland and signed this, like, super-insanely-old guestbook... we had to use like really pretty cursive because everyone else in there did, and use up about a page. I was proud of my cursive. It was some nice cursive.

I was so happy to come home, though. Traveling makes time go by slowly.

New years was cool. The fireworks out my window were amaaaazing. Like, so completely breathtakingly awesome. I could see like, the entire horizon of Stockholm, and about a billion fireworks at a time every second. IT WAS SO COOL. My parents went to some party.

The first food I ate in 2009 was vanilla ice cream, and the first song I listened to was Supermassive Black Hole, at Sarah's request.

Oh and, awesomest thing ever. Okay so. About 12 minutes after midnight, I was talking to Sarah and I was like, crap. I just had the best idea ever and now it's too late. You know how people always kiss at midnight? Kay so, Sarah and I always hug our computers at the same time because that's the best available way right now, and we're awesome like that, but I was thinking, we should have totally kissed our computer screens at the same time at midnight. But, no. It was too late. Our next idea was to wait until Sarah's midnight, but that was freaking 8 am for me, so no. Then she was like, well, Finland's midnight is in an hour! So I'm like, AWESOME. We're doing it. And it was like crazy-awesome, llol. Both of our parents were like, dude, what the crap??

So yeah. 2008 is over. Which is just so weird. It hasn't hit me in some crazy way yet, you know? Just like when you have your birthday you don't feel whatever age you are. 2009 just doesn't seem any different from 2008. But it's still weird.

Oh, I have new blogging rules for myself. Every 5th post I make has to be, like, about one specific thing or person. Like, a tribute or something. It's going to be cool, probably. And every 4th post gets to be a story. That is all. Byebye.
